Hello everyone!

My name is Lizzie, I do a bit of sewing mainly furnishings such as cushion covers, curtains and throws. I also make clothes but only for myself because I am not that good yet. I like to do a bit of craft, decoupage and cards. I have just started a project to quilt a panel that I bought about 10 years ago from Abakhan.....I will let you know how I get on but it may take another 10 years knowing me!
I have loads of off cuts of fabric and don't really know what to make from them so any suggestions would be welcome! :)

Hope to hear back from anyone with similar interests!

I use off-cuts and remnants and left-overs from bigger projects for making bags and Christmas Stockings and things like that. Maybe some of your bits could be used like that?

Quilting your panel shouldn't be too hard. If you are following lines, a walking foot will help, as will basting the layers together really well before you start. :)

Lavendar bags are a brill way to use up very small scraps, and hair scrunchies.

That's a great idea, I might make some as Christmas presents. My next door neighbour has got loads of lavendar so I will ask her if I can have some. Do you have to do anything with it first? Does anyone know if Eucalyptus leaves can be used for anything? I have a big tree in my garden.
